Connecting with Your Audience: 2. Practical Matters

Program Evaluation

Sometimes there is a desire to evaluate the students in terms of changes in their knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors by comparing survey responses before and after the delivery of the Dangerous Decibels Program. Read the outcomes of the Dangerous Decibels Classroom Program.

Having local outcomes will help secure the time to continue to deliver the program in the future and may also provide objective data to submit to funders of disposable materials (e.g. local service clubs) or expand the program to other locations.

Arrangements to evaluate the students will need to be made in advance and may require other approvals.
