Dangerous Decibels Online Education Training
Dangerous Decibels® is a public health collaboration designed to reduce the incidence and prevalence of noise-induced hearing loss and tinnitus (ringing in the ear) by changing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of school-aged children. Trained Dangerous Decibels® Educators go into classrooms around the world and present the 50-minute highly interactive Dangerous Decibels® Program, with the goal of creating positive hearing health behavior change.
By completing this self-paced Dangerous Decibels® Online Training, you will have the opportunity to achieve a certificate of completion and become a Dangerous Decibels® Educator. 11 interactive modules will introduce you to the science of sound and hearing, how ears can break, safe and dangerous sound, and strategies to hear for a lifetime. The training will enable you to access and learn the Dangerous Decibels Program and prepare and equip you to deliver the interactive program to youth in your schools and communities.
