Audio, Video and Social Media Permissions
Most schools have their own agreements and policies with students and their families, however these may not apply to the Dangerous Decibels Educator. If not, the educator can ask that a Media Permission Form be completed in advance by the parents of the students. For students whose parents do not give permission, you can provide name tags to all the kids and then use small colored dots to indicate those that can be photographed/videotaped and those that cannot. This makes it easy to identify those that need to be excluded from social media both during and after the program delivery.
Having photos/videos and social media postings of local program delivery is very helpful when seeking community support for disposable supplies like earplugs and pipe cleaners. Including local photos and videos also help when submitting grants for funding to disseminate the program locally.
