- Guide the students through fitting the second ear.
- Instruct them to remove the earplugs and store them away for their personal use.
- Review how to clean earplugs.
- Remind them to always carry earplugs with them, so they have them when they need them.
- Identify where they can purchase earplugs and earmuffs in their home community.
- The earmuffs are used to show an alternative type of hearing protection that works well too.
