This is a very straight-forward Dangerous Decibels program module that is designed to teach the students about how we hear. Your role as the Dangerous Decibels educator is to provide the students with a general understanding of how sound waves and vibrations travel through the parts of ear to enable hearing.

In the previous online training module entitled “The Science of Hearing” you learned about “How Do We Hear” in greater detail than what you need to explain to students within the Dangerous Decibels program. This equips you to answer questions that might arise and be consistent if students have learned more advanced anatomy and physiology of the ear.
