About the Program

• The Dangerous Decibels program is based upon “Inquiry Based Learning”, so the techniques used in the program are integral to successfully changing knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors related to hearing health.
• The activities are intentionally designed to be “HANDS ON”; the more students you can involve in the activities, the stronger the student learning outcomes.
• Deliver the entire Dangerous Decibels Program. Each module of the Dangerous Decibels program is linked to the next module. Use the transitions to connect all the parts.
• Focus on becoming proficient in the basic program and script before attempting more advanced techniques.
