Dangerous Decibels Program in Action: 1. Classroom Program Video
Now What?
You’re probably wondering how you will learn to deliver the program yourself? We’ll begin by giving you some resources and then walking you through each program component and activity in the next online training module. In preparation for that, we’d like you to do the following before continuing:
- Have your Dangerous Decibels Kit handy
- Read the Dangerous Decibels Program Guide (a hardcopy is provided in your Dangerous Decibels Kit or you may download it here). You are not expected to memorize the content, it is for guidance. This is likely to be your most important resource while you are learning the program.
- Review the Dangerous Decibels Index Cards (printed copies are in your Dangerous Decibels Kit or you may download them here).
We’ve trained thousands of Dangerous Decibels educators of all ages and backgrounds, so we are confident that you can master this!
NOTE: This video was created several years ago and the program has since been modified slightly since it was originally created. The Dangerous Decibels Program Guide (next module) and the Walk
Through modules will give you the current structure and sequence to follow when you deliver the Dangerous Decibels program.
We hope to update the video when we have greater access to classrooms, pending improved control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
